The short version

Vaulted Ledger is a completely offline app. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any of your data — ever. Everything you enter stays on your device, and you can permanently delete all of it at any time, directly from within the app.

No internet connection is used to run the app or handle your data. There are no servers, accounts, or logins.

We collect zero personal information — no name, email, location, contacts, or analytics.

All financial data lives locally in your device's private app storage and never leaves it.

A single action in the app permanently erases all your data from your device.

1.Who this policy is for

This Privacy Policy applies to the Vaulted Ledger mobile application (package identifier com.vaultedledger.app) for Android and iOS. By using the app you agree to the practices described here. Because the app does not connect to any server, most traditional privacy concerns simply do not apply.

2.The app works 100% offline

Vaulted Ledger is designed to function entirely on your device without any network connection. The app:

Does not send any data to us or to any third party.
Does not require an account, sign-up, or login.
Does not make network or API requests to transmit your financial information.
Does not use cloud sync, remote backups, or external storage.

3.What data we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, or have access to any information about you. This includes, but is not limited to:

Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address).
Financial data (transactions, budgets, balances, debts, savings goals).
Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location data.
Usage analytics, crash logs, or tracking of any kind.

Any financial information you enter (transactions, budget limits, calculations, preferences) is created and used only on your device, and is never visible to us.

4.How your data is stored

All information you enter is saved in your device's private, sandboxed local app storage (for example, localStorage within the app). This data:

Stays on your device at all times.
Is not accessible to other apps.
Is not backed up to or retrievable by us.

5.You are in control — deleting your data

You have full control over your data at all times. You can permanently delete all data stored by Vaulted Ledger in any of these ways:

Use the “Clear / Delete all data” option inside the app to instantly and permanently erase all transactions, budgets, and settings from your device.
Clear the app's storage/cache from your device settings.
Uninstall the app, which removes all associated local data.

Because the data lives only on your device, once you delete it, it is gone permanently. We keep no copies because we never had any.

6.Third parties & advertising

Vaulted Ledger contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share data with anyone because we do not collect any.

7.Children's privacy

The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children. No personal information is gathered regardless of the user's age.

8.Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Since the app remains fully offline with no data collection, any changes will be minimal.
